Classes for Kids

About The Class

Imagery Dance™ for kids is a collaborative journey into the imagination. Each session is a unique adventure where the “map” is drawn not just by the instructor, but by the children themselves. In this space, we set aside the idea of a teacher leading a routine; instead, we embark on a shared exploration where the children are the scriptwriters and the producers of their own movement.

The journey begins with a precise internal blueprint, perhaps a landscape of fluid color or a structural map of the stars, but it comes to life through their own sensory input. As we move, kids are invited to listen to their body’s own signals and layer in their own creative discoveries.

Why Kids Need Imagery Dance™?
In a world dominated by digital distraction and constant outward performance, children are losing touch with their most powerful internal resource: their imagination. Imagery Dance™ teaches them to stop simply reacting to the world and start becoming the scriptwriters of their own experience. By navigating their internal world through movement, they gain a level of self-mastery that traditional sports rarely provide; learning they have the agency to change how they feel, how they focus, and how they show up in the world.

Find quick answers to the most common questions about Imagery Dance™ classes for kids

Absolutely. In fact, this is often the perfect environment for children who feel intimidated by traditional dance. We don't focus on perfecting external steps or "performing" for an audience. Instead, we use movement as a tool for self-discovery. If your child has a body and an imagination, they have everything they need to succeed here.
